Chiddingstone Castle Wedding

I loved photographing this fairytale Chiddingstone Castle Wedding in Kent! Chiddingstone Castle is a beautiful and historic house set in the Kentish countryside, it is such a stunning venue for weddings because the guests can enjoy not only the castle but also it’s gorgeous grounds.

The bride and her girls got ready in the beautiful suite in the castle and there was atmosphere of neves and excitement, Regan looked completely radiant in her beautiful lace wedding dress and the flowers were simply divine!
I had met Regan and Robbie previously when I photographed their engagement shoot in Knole Park and I had fallen in love with their bubbly enthusiasm and tender love for each other. Regan is American and Robbie is British, their wedding was a coming together of cultures and there were nods to both classic English heritage and Americana. They were married in the local church which was a short walk over a picturesque bridge and had been beautifully decked out with a floral arch. After the ceremony (and some fantastic confetti!) the guests walked back to the castle to enjoy champagne and canapés in the grounds and beautiful orangery. The wedding breakfast took place on the lawn of the castle in a lovely marquee, Regan and Robbie had their own sweetheart table which was adorable. They are head over heels in love and didn’t leave each other’s side all day!
As you will see from their couple photos, these two are dreamy to photography and so much fun. They even had their adorable dog there to enjoy the party!
After some fantastic speeches and a delicious dinner the guests partied the night away in the grand ballroom of the Castle.
I left as the sun was setting on a wonderful Chiddingstone Castle Wedding, I hope to be back very soon!
