Ogbourne Maizey Wedding

I’ve got a quintessential English country wedding to share with you all today complete with English rose bride, dashing groom and a horse drawn carriage.
Alice & Pete are pure class and they wedding reflected them perfectly. It was elegant and understated with an emphasis on family which is what really makes a wedding special. The most loved family member of all was Pearl, Alice’s adorable granny, there were so many moments in the day when I saw her being hugged and kissed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, it was really very touching.

Alice got ready at The Bell in Ramsbury with her gorgeous bridesmaids and the whole morning had a very relaxed feel. My favourite moment was when Jo from Wilshire Flowers arrived with the bouquets, seeing your wedding flowers for the first time is a very emotional experience and everyone got a bit teary! When Alice got into her stunning lace Raimon Bundó dress the picture was complete, she looked just breath taking (a little like K Middy I dare say) and her crowning glory was a beautiful tiara which finished the look perfectly.

The boys gathered at a nearby pub before the wedding for some lunch and a team talk. Pete’s ushers were all brandishing wedding schedule spread sheets (I love an organised bride and groom!) but they didn’t let the timetable get in the way of a couple of beers before the ceremony.
The church that Alice & Pete got married in was idyllic and was decked in the most stunning flowers which made for beautiful photographs. After a flurry of confetti Alice & Pete set of in their horse drawn carriage to their reception.

The guests were greeted at Maizey Lodge with champers and canapés and everyone had a wonderful time chatting and mingling on the lawn. The marquee looked just as stunning as the church with beautiful flowers on every table.
After some fantastic and pretty emotional speeches we stole the newlyweds off for some photos in the gorgeous golden evening light. Alice & Pete were just a dream to photograph, so at ease together and so clearly in love.
The evening kicked off a set from All The Legends and I think you will able to see from the dance floor photos that this lot know how to party. When we left the raucous dancing was in full swing and I could have stayed and partied on with Alice & Pete and their lovely family and friends.

Wishing you a lifetime of happiness Mr & Mrs GF xxx
