For me, being a wedding photographer is definitely more than just a job. People often assume I am one of the guests because of the huge smile on my face and my enthusiasm for you and your special day.
We will get to know each other really well in the run up to your big day and I will guide you through the photography planning process. I will be on hand to offer advice on wedding timelines, suppliers, lighting and how to style your day to achieve the most gorgeous photographs.
On the day I work in a very discreet way to tell the story of your wedding. I capture the carefully considered details in an editorial style to enhance the beauty and atmosphere of the day. I also blend in with your guests photographing the candid all the little moments of connection between you and your guests. During your couple portraits, I will gently direct and pose you in a natural way, using my experience to help you relax and produce some beautiful, romantic portraiture.
I have photographed over 200 weddings in my career and yet I find myself completely romanticised by each and every one.
My favourite parts of a wedding are the people, the relationships and the moments of connection. These can be fleeting and subtle but so meaningful and tender when captured in a photograph. I pride myself in anticipating these special exchanges and photographing them in a timeless and beautiful style. I really believe that these images are heirlooms to be treasured and passed down the generations.
I use a mixture of specialised cameras and lenses to create romantic, ethereal and natural images with true soul.
I treat each photograph as a work of art which is carefully curated and composed. These will be hung with pride on your walls and shown to your children and grandchildren which I think is something pretty special.
